Identification Requirements: Per the Illinois Resale Dealers Act, a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport) is required for all transactions.
Mandatory Reporting: We are required to record a description of all items and a photographic image of the seller’s ID. This information may be reported to local law enforcement via LeadsOnline or the City’s electronic reporting system.
Pricing & Volatility: Instant online or text estimates are non-binding until a trade agreement is explicitly accepted by the seller via our secure submission portal. Once a trade agreement is accepted, the payout percentage and spot baseline are legally locked for the duration of the transit window, subject to final physical verification of weight and purity.
Shipping Protocol & Liability: Mandatory mailing protocols are determined by the estimated value of the shipment. Shipments $5,000 and Under: We will issue a fully insured UPS Next Day Air label to the seller. Shipments Over $5,000: The seller is required to send items via USPS Registered Mail.
